Light channeling is a simple technique as this is even practiced by School going kids. More than 20,00,00 children and teachers have channeled light since February,2010 in schools across the nation. Light is to be channeled only for 7 minutes daily.
This technique can be practiced by anyone and anywhere.

I find the technique simple yet one can have doubts on it, that does not mean doubts on the Technique itself, but in different or particular stages of practicing technique. I had a doubt which was clarified by Guruji, the person who started the World Light Channel Movement. I asked a doubt to him which was clarified, later I felt I should not have asked such silly doubt in front of a Light master.

What is Light?
Light is the Creative Intelligence behind the creation. Light is the formless God. Light carries within it Love, Wisdom and Energies. This Light is not the physical light. It is very subtle and pervades the higher subtler realms. It can be accessed by thought, Meditation and by extending our Awareness.
You can sit any where comfortably and its good if you are facing north.
1.Imagine an ocean of Light above you.
This is the divine light, the light which is filled in every thing/every creature of this universe. No matter you place faith in whichever god or believe in atheism, light is the choice of all and non chooses darkness. It is humane to be with light, so don't think or analyze too much.You will love to be with light.
2.Imagine the Light descending and filling up your body.
This is the stage where some one will feel, oh yes light is entering in me and they feel it ( i have no words to explain that feeling, its an awesome feeling). And some would say I could not feel it.
For them a solution is there, a plain request is enough.The light will flow through you.
3.Then, experience the Love and Peace of the Light for a minute.
Some people feel light. As each individual has his way of feeling things, how to experience it cannot be defined. So it is up to you.
If you are having a confusion whether you are feeling the love and peace of the light or not, just do this, give consent to light to fill every cell of your body, immediately the light fills up your body, feel this for a minute and enjoy.
4.Then, imagine the Light spreading around gradually to your home, locality, country and the whole world.
Yes the light always spreads, it is nature of light. You just have to give consent to light to spread from every cell of yours which is filled with light and now you are channeling light.
When you are channeling light as per the demo visualization, please observe that light is also entering the core of earth, this is to be understood, as the channeled light will heal mother earth.
Just be aware that light is intelligent and once you start channeling light it will be a dynamic process. You have to feel the light which is present in you and rest will be taken care by light.
Light has everything. When we spread it, it enters other's hearts and homes and transforms all the darkness in thoughts, emotions and systems into Light full of Love and Peace. The individuals transform. The families, societies and nations transform. There is no doubt about this. It is a matter of time.

How 2012 made me smile ?
I do not believe in the concept of "Pralaya - End of world" as I have seen raise and fall of such frenzy earlier, for the year 2000. But I believe in "Pralaya - Transformation" a possible change that will cleanse the current systems of hatred and corruption. I was not doing any research about 2012 as I hardly cared ((scared ;) ) for it, but was in search of something spiritual, a soul soother and health improver like meditation or pranayam course.
My friend suggested me to read a book "Doorways to Light" which answered all my questions and gave me hope. I knew who is my Guru by reading the book. I had an urge to take up meditations and join Manasa Foundation started by Guruji Krishananda author of book Doorways to Light. I wanted to know where and when they conduct classes. I went on their website to search the details. I found the website simple, without flashy colors or attractive pics in it. Apart from Meditation segment there were also many other segments. One was speaking of "Light" with a tag line 'this light is not the physical light.’ I felt, there is a concept behind. Also another segment on "2012" with tag line 'A year of great events, changes and opportunities'. Now that was interesting, the Hollywood/media dread 2012 is a year of opportunities?
This made me to read more about 2012 on this website and a free pdf book with title "2012 End or Beginning", available there. This book provides lot and lots of technical/scientific info about what all events can be expected in the year 2012. I read and was impressed but I was highly impressed when the same was said by a NASA report some time later.
This institute also suggests how one can minimize/reduce the effects of events in 2012. Suggestion is strange; it is not like piling up weapons nor stocking up food or doing rituals/reading holy scripts. Suggestion is to follow a technique named "Light Channeling".According to them Light about which they are concerned is not the physical light which we see. It is that light which guides the universal intelligence. Many religions define this light as god and its omnipresence.So i went on to read about this light and contemplate on it and this is what I could conclude,
Every thing on this earth is composed of molecules and hence with atoms. Sub atomic particles have energy and vibration associated with them, this is elementary physics, if you donot agree, you just mugged up in PU and passed the exams (this statement applies to those who took science in PU). Also there is a famous principle called Heisenberg's Uncertainty, which is very interesting, dealing with particle and wave nature of subatomic particles and light.
In simple words, though a stone is showing no motion, inside it, there is lot of activity, unseen and unheard. In our world each and everything vibrates at certain frequency and nothing is still, though it appears so.So, may be the light about which they are talking is of some finer frequency than the light of sun.
Also, we know the Law of conservation of Energy which states; Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. When every material in our world is having energy (motion/vibration) so there must be a source of energy which has transformed in to that particular form. May be this source energy itself is called light or god.
As already mentioned this light is not the physical light, but the light, with which everything is created, it also has a humane aspect associated and that is Love. I don't know much about love so no comments on that, I know that it just happens. If I start contemplating about love then it’s a never ending one, so I skipped it. I just accepted that this light encompasses love. If some thing which comes to us with genuine love, how can one refuse and that too when its devine love?
Now coming back to the technique suggested by them called "Light Channeling", I tried it and I felt happy with a broad smile on my face while channeling light. I just looked into mirror soon after trying the technique to see whether I am glowing? but I was disappointed. I realized, I was glowing within.
